Tang Hall Primary School

Grade 8 (£32,586 – £35,688) reduced pro rata.

This role is full time, 8am to 4pm, term time only plus 2 weeks.

Tang Hall Primary School is looking for an experienced colleague (teacher or non-teacher) who is passionate about supporting our wonderful pupils and their families.

Our staff are friendly and supportive and our pupils are polite, hardworking and keen to succeed. As such this post represents an exciting opportunity to join a very successful, forward thinking school who only want the very best for our community.

There are exciting times ahead for the school which is due to be completely rebuilt under the government’s School Rebuilding Programme and so the working environment will be one of the best in the city in the near future!

The successful candidate will join the school with a range of relevant experiences possibly working in a similar role within education or in a different child related sector of the local authority. The candidate will become a member of the school’s leadership team and will need to be able to work on their own initiative to champion our children and families on a day to day basis. The role will be wide and varied as the needs of our school community develop so a flexible approach will be needed. The role will be predominately term time hours only but due to the nature, the successful candidate may need to complete reports for external agencies or attend statutory meetings during the school holidays and therefore an additional two weeks pay is included in the salary package.

Ongoing training and development will be paramount to this role and regular conversations will be offered to ensure the successful candidate feels fully equipped and suitably training for the role as it develops.

We are offering visits to the school on Wednesday 15 at 2pm and Friday 17 May at 10.30am. If you would like to attend and find out more about the role, please contact aairstone@tanghall.pmat.academy indicating which day and time you would prefer.
